Welcome to the online home of the Queensland Clarinet and Saxophone Society Inc.

QCASS is a Not-For-Profit organisation run by volunteer staff to promote and encourage the learning and enjoyment of clarinet and saxophone playing. One of our primary aims is to facilitate collaborative events and support students and teachers in Queensland.

Clarinettist Michael Webster is Professor of Music at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music and Artistic Director of the Houston Youth Symphony. Professor Webster has served as Acting Principal Clarinettist of the San Francisco Symphony, Music Director of the Society for Chamber Music in Rochester, Founder and Music Director of Chamber Music Ann Arbor, and Associate Professor of Clarinet at the Eastman School of Music,
